ARE THESE SESSIONS OFFERED AS A PACKAGE?
Yes! In-home lactation counseling sessions are offered in packages of 3 sessions. Sessions never expire!
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO USE THIS SERVICE?
Because sessions never expire, Ava recommends purchasing your in-home lactation counseling package during your 3rd trimester of pregnancy. The first visit should be scheduled within the first week home with your baby. After the first visit, it is up to you when you'd like Ava to come back for a second and third session according to your unique nursing experience.
HOW DO I KNOW THIS IS THE RIGHT SERVICE FOR ME?
Ava was trained as a Maternal and Pediatric Registered Dietitian and Certified Lactation Counselor and works with families to help improve their nursing experience. Ava uses a combination of research-based framework and families' personal needs, comfort, and preferences to help moms and babies find enjoyable, stress-free nursing they feel confident in. IS THERE A PAYMENT PLAN?
Yes, we have varying options for your budget. Beyond the pay in full option, we also have options for payment plans that stretch out the monthly payments over 3 or 6 months.
WILL MY INSURANCE COVER THE COST OF THESE SESSIONS?
Ava is currently in network with Aetna insurance and will check your eligibility prior to signing up for this service as inquired. For all other insurance carriers, Ava can provide a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
